This is a traditional sports bar with lot of TV’s everywhere.

The had a lunch menu where the burgers were cheaper than the normal dinner menu. A burger was around $6 as opposed to around $8 at dinner time.

I selected their Franchise Burger, a bacon cheese burger with their special Franchise sauce. I ordered a side of waffle fries and a drink. I was asked how I liked it cooked and I asked for medium.

The wait was around 10 minutes.

The burger looked pretty nice and it was definitely flame broiled. The fries were cooked from frozen but they had a nice color and over all look.

After the first bite I noticed that the burger was a little burned on the outside. The flames got the best of this burger and it turned out a little dry. It was cooked almost well done; so much for medium.

The bacon was tasty by itself but on top of the burger it was almost non existent due to the charred taste from the burger. The special sauce was a thick ketchup like sauce and there was really nothing special to it.

Overall the burger was okay but had they cooked it a little less it would have been much better.

The waffle fries were very good and probably the best waffle fries I’ve had in a long time. They were crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. Very good.

I think I will come back another time but I would ask them to char the burgers a little less and maybe ask for medium rare.
