I visisted Boston’s Gourmet Pizza. They are known for their pizzas but they also carry some burgers that I wanted to try.
I choose Boston’s Bacon Cheese Burger. It said that it had some special sauce and spices, so it sounded exciting.
I asked the waiter if they cooked the burgers to order. He had no idea what I was talking about. I said “Do you cook the burgers medium or what?” He was still confused but then he said that all burgers were cooked medium. Hm…
The wait was less than 10 minutes and as the burgers arrived they looked pretty good. So far so good. What a big disappointment: The patty was not only cooked super well-done. It was dry and hard a a hockey puck. The meat tasted like dog food smells. It was horrible. The texture of the meat was awful. It was disgusting! The special sauce was nothing else than regular mayo. The greens were not very fresh and the bacon was pretty bad also. I had to add some ketchup to the burger to be able to just have some bites of this burger. Maybe I had a bad corner or something. Everyone else’s burger was just like mine: Awful!
The fries was the best part of this meal and they were soggy and boring, but at least not awful.
The price was ridiculous for this crap. Paying $10 for a burger like this plus tips and tax. No f’ing way!
If they serve this kind of burgers at Boston’s, I will never ever set foot in this place again. Go somewhere else instead.
