This place is a place that serves Man food. By that I mean burgers, wings, steaks etc in large portions. They also only employ female waitstaff all dressed in the same skimpy uniforms. The place was spacious with a full bar and lots of tables in the dining area. We were greeted by three young girls when we entered the restaurant and seated right away.
Their burger menu (see pictures) features several burgers and all in three different sizes (XL, XXL and XXXL). From 1/2 lbs to 1 1/2 lbs. Nice! We ordered the Barbecue Bacon Burger and the Black & Bleu Burger both cooked medium. The waitress said that all burgers were cooked to medium. Great!
The wait was not very long, maybe 10 minutes or so and the burgers looked mighty good. I had half of each burger and here is the verdict: Dry, dry and dry! Both burgers were cooked to well-well-done. There was not a single drop of moisture in any of them. They were so dry I was happy our waitress supplied plenty of water. The blue cheese burger had absolutely no blue cheese taste at all. The cajun spices were also non existing. It was so dull that I couldn’t believe it.
The barbecue bacon burger was slightly better; probably because of the bacon but it was also super dry. I even contemplated not finishing the burger at all, but I managed after four glasses of water.
The fries were the usual standard frozen fries. Nothing exciting to say about them. They were good average fries.
I think that the atmosphere is what makes this place. I am sure this is a great place at night or during sports events. The girls are pleasant to look at and the beers are probably very good. The burgers are way too dry to get any recommendation from me. I hope their other menu items are better. Or maybe we were just unlucky?
