Burger Girl is a newly opened burger restaurant in Frisco, Texas. I have visited their Dallas location earlier this year and was curious if this restaurant was different than the other.
Burger Girl is a burger restaurant with waitresses only. It looks like they try to have a Hooters like concept, but they were not super consistent in their uniforms. The restaurant was much larger than their Dallas location and decorated more like a sports bar.
The menu is the same in both location. I was going to try the BG Supreme, a 1/2 lbs burger with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and my choice of cheese. I selected Pepper Jack.
According to the menu all burgers are made from freshly ground beef and fresh hand cut potatoes for their fries.
The wait was very short, less than five minutes.
The burger was wrapped in paper so it was ready to eat. Personally I am not a big fan of all the paper wrapping. I prefer the burger out in the open so I can get greasy and dirty while I am eating it, but I also recognize that some are less sloppy when eating burgers than I am.
The burger was very good. The special sauce tasted very mostly like mayo, so I am not so sure what was special about it, but it was good. The bacon was thick and had a great taste. The meat was cooked medium and was juicy and very tasty. The bun kept the burger together unlike some other places and it was no taking any taste away from the burger. Very nice!
The fries were definitely home made and seasoned generously. Unlike the Dallas location these fries were much better. For hand cut fries, they were probably among the best I have tried.
At this time Burger Girl is an upcoming franchise with a location on Dallas and this one on Frisco. I will recommend Burger Girl for their burgers and fries.
