This is not the same as the Country Burger I tried before (see review here), but another restaurant that happens to be called the same.

This was a family owned burger place and the menu was rather simple. I ordered a double-double since it was 1/3 lbs patties. I also added bacon. I asked how they cooked their burger (medium, well done) and I could tell on the look of the order takers face, that she had no idea what I was talking about, so I just said it was fine whatever they cooked it.

The wait was very short and the burgers were served in a brown bag, so I could take the to go or eat inside. The burger was a solid fast food style burger. I would say that it had a Whopper feel to it but was much fresher and better tasting. The greens were fresh and the burger was really juicy even though it was cooked well-done. They most likely use pretty fatty meat.

The fries were really good and crisp frozen fries.

All in all a solid and good hamburger, much better than McDonald’s that was just next door to this place. They have been around for a long time and it shows that McD and similar places just can’t compete on quality against places like this.
