Culver’s advertise that their signature ButterBurger is made from fresh, never frozen, 100% US raised beef and seared on a hot grill to seal in their juicy flavor. My first impression was that this looks pretty much like your usual fast food restaurant. The setup is very much like McD, where you walk up to the cashier and place your order. They have so called “Baskets” as menu deals. The order process is very fast and prices are pretty good. $6.50 for a Culver’s Bacon Deluxe (double) with fries and soft drink. You get a number and take a seat. Drinks, ketchup etc is all selfservice.

The meal came very fast; within 3 minutes; delivered to the table. The burger has some greasiness to it on the bun; I guess that’s where the butter in ButterBurger comes into place. I assume it was butter, but it was not overwhelming. The patties where made well done, but still pretty juicy. They were a little too burned on the edges for my taste, but the rest was pretty good. It comes with lettuce, pickles, tomato, onions, mayo and bacon. The bun is pretty good quality. I think the burger was very good for a place like this. The fries are crinkle cut fries and they were nice and crisp.

The restaurant setup is close to any McDonald’s but it seems cozier.
