This was a new location of Duke’s Original Roadhouse. They also have a few other locations in the Dallas area.

The concept of the restaurant is pretty much the same as a Sports bar. They feature quite a few burgers and also a 2 lbs burger challenge. I was just here for the regular burgers.

I ordered a 1/2 lbs bacon cheese burger with jalapenos. The burger was prepared Texas style, which means mustard, onion, pickles, lettuce and tomatoes. No mayo on this puppy.

When asked, I ordered mine cooked medium rare. The wait was short, maybe 5-7 minutes and the burger looked good.

The bacon was thick and crisp with a great taste. The burger was cooked medium rare as requested. Very nice. It was very good burger with a nice beefy taste and overall a succes.

The fries were very good and light and crisp. I really enjoyed the burger.

I will definitely recommend the burgers at Duke’s and will be back soon.
