This place is mostly known for their cheese steaks but they also have a large burger menu that I had to try.

The first thing I noticed when I got into the restaurant was that it was small and packed with tables. It was almost like walking into someones living room and they were serving food from the kitchen.

The place was pretty full but there was no line so we got our orders in right away. I ordered a Bacon Cheese BBQ burger with fries and a drink.

They were showing “From Paris with Love” with John Travolta on the TV’s. I was’t sure if it was HBO or just a DVD but it was quite loud (especially when John T was shooting left and right). The decor was a little tacky and the seats in our booth were worn out but I guess that was okay for a place like this.

Our burgers came out pretty fast within 10 minutes and they looked good. The fries were shoestring fries and they were definitely cooked from frozen. The burgers were cooked from fresh according to the menu.

It was a good average burger, but nothing special. The burger was probably 1/4 lbs (maybe 1/3 lbs) and it was cooked well done. The bacon was actually pretty good and that saved this burger from an average rating. The greens were super crisp and fresh. The fries were crisp and overall very nice.

I am not sure I would go here again. The burgers are a step up from the large fast food chains, but only by a hair. I think that people come here for their cheese steaks and maybe I will get one of those next time.
