This is a chain restaurant located in several states. This one was recently opened in Allen, Texas.
This place was very empty and stayed empty during the entire lunch. The menu was typical roadhouse, with steaks, burgers and sandwiches. I am sure they had other things but that is the cornerstone of any roadhouse. There were peanuts served from all tables and the shells went on the floor when you were done.
They advertised that all meats were fresh and never frozen, also for the burgers. I ordered a Roadhouse Deluxe Burger, with cheese, bacon Brewski onions, sauteed mushrooms and BBQ sauce. I ordered mine cooked medium. Side order: Fries.
We were served fresh baked bread while we waited. The bread was the butter kind. Butter on top, inside and everywhere. But nice and hot.
The wait was not very long, 5-10 minutes. The plate was very nice looking and inviting. The burger was VERY juicy. That’s good and that’s also a little bad. The bun was not able to hold this burger together for long. It was just too full of juicy goodness. After less than half, I had to use utensils to finish it. The meat was very good and definitely made from fresh beef. It was beautiful medium and the patty was loosely packed as they were supposed to be. The bacon was crisp and the greens were fresh. Very good burger indeed.
The fries were good above average fries from frozen. I also tried their sweet potato fries and although they were very cinnamony they were actually very good and crisp also.
The burgers are fresh and very juicy here. Get an extra napkin, but do try their burgers. They are really good!
