OC Burgers has three locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area and I was visiting the Euless location. OC Burgers use always fresh Black Angus beef  and cook their patties on a grill. You could smell the grill from the outside, and in a good way. This place was a little dark inside and didn’t look very inviting. A little color or some more light would make a big difference.

The menu consisted of 9 burgers and also a few value burgers. They also had chicken sandwiches and so called fitness salads.
I was of course not here for the salads but for their burgers. I ordered “The OC Bacon” with everything on it and a side of fries. The combo with drink was $8.19 plus tax.

After a short wait the burgers were brought to our table. They sure looked good to me. The first think I noticed was the neatness in the wrapping of the burger and also that this was not a single patty burger but a double. So two quarter pound patties in the burger and bacon on top. Another thing that was very noticeable was that this was full of lots of “everything”. It had bacon, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and special sauce. The meat was what made this burger. It was beautifully cooked to medium and the grill definitely made its impact on the burger. The patties were just perfect and so tasty!! The bacon was crispy and didn’t get lost in the mix. It was a very well composed burger but a little on the messy side which is perfectly okay with me.

The fries were nothing special. The were a little on the soggy side for my taste but still above average. They were obviously made from frozen which I am a big fan of unless you can perfect the home made fries so very few can master.

OC Burgers make some excellent burgers and decent fries. The grill they use to cook the burgers is really a good investment. You can taste the difference in the burger. Go try them some day, you won’t regret it.
