I was recommended this restaurant by Steve from McKinney. He said I would not be sorry to try this place out.
The restaurant is a steakhouse and feature finer dining. One thing that’s usually always good about steakhouses is that they make a great burger because they work with all the nice Prime beef.
They only had one burger on the menu and it was called “Burger”. Simple right? An Angus Beef burger with cheddar, lettuce, heirloom tomato, tobacco onion (onion strings), pickle and fries on the side. The choice of condiments were mustard, ketchup and mayo. I went for ketchup and mayo. Mustard is not for a gourmet burger. I asked them to cook mine medium rare.
The restaurant was pretty empty so the wait was 10 minutes or less. You could smell how the beef was grilled and seared. It was just a wonderful smell. The meat was cooked perfectly medium rare. Steakhouses just get this right all the time. It had a wonderful grilled meaty taste. I wish I could make burgers like that at home! The burger was a huge success. Great in every way. Almost a perfect 10. I really can’t say what they could have done better but I just don’t hand out a perfect 10.
The fries were hand cut and home made. They had a great taste and was seasoned perfectly. There was no oily taste like I sometimes experience.
This place makes great burgers. It’s fine they only have one burger when it’s done right. Although I am sure they have other great items on their menu, go and get the burger here. You won’t regret it.
