Texasdelphia is a restaurant that is mostly known for Cheesesteaks, but they carry a few burgers and I was anxious to try their Cheddar Bacon Burger. The order process was really fast and the price was very reasonable, less than $10 for a combo meal, with a burger, drink, and fries. We got a number and went off to find a spot to sit. They featured some homemade sauces, like a mustard sauce, ranch, and a pico sauce. I selected to try the ranch.

The wait was ten minutes or so. The burger was really nothing special. I wouldn’t say it was bad, but it was rather dull. I think they cooked it too long and didn’t add any seasoning to it. I tried adding some salt, but it didn’t make it much better. The bacon was hidden inside and never made it to the front of my taste buds. It was just not very good. The ranch was really good and I could tell it was homemade. The fries were also pretty decent and they were warm and crisp.

I wouldn’t get a burger here next time. I don’t think they really know how to make a good hamburger. Maybe I would just try their Philly Cheesesteaks next time.
